178843 Risk Co-ordinator

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Patient Safety & Improvement Team. We are looking to recruit to the post of a Risk Coordinator full time, permanent. You will report directly to the Corporate Risk Manager and work closely with the risk Project Officer to implement and maintain the Risk Management Strategy and Framework and the Adverse Event Framework. Our ideal candidate will be educated to degree level, ideally from a clinical background or with relevant experience in managing people and systems.

You should demonstrate a passion for patient and staff safety, and a commitment to ensuring that we proactively identify risk and appropriately manage adverse events through adherence to robust policies and procedures.

On a day to day basis you will be responsible for managing our DATIX Risk Management System, ensuring that we promote a culture of reporting, analysis and learning, and that the lessons we learn are quickly applied across our system.
