WHAT TO EXPECT
Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) & Execution (S&OE) are business processes to develop JLR’s future plans, which allow stakeholders to make decisions to secure the achievement of our products and services ambition within the end-to-end Supply Chain.
Within this team you will get the opportunity to be a part of consolidating demand requirements and supply planning capabilities along with financials into one integrated, rolling plan.
As the Scenario Planning Senior Analyst, you will get the opportunity to support the Sales & Operation Planning within JLR. Within this role you will be responsible for identifying and driving the development of the key scenarios to be assessed within each planning cycle and, in close collaboration with the Finance team, lay out recommendations for which scenario to pursue, taking all business interests into account and balancing all requirements for the best Company & Customer outcome.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
Identify & develop planning scenarios, support the development of planning scenarios for Board level review during each monthly S&OP cycle. Establish & operate S&OP with excellence: Support the S&OP/E manager to establish and stabilise these Enterprise critical processes; operate these industry-standard practices with excellence within our business. Support the continuous development of these processes for the Enterprise to deliver Gartner S&OP Level 5 Mastery within an agreed timeframe.WHAT YOU’LL NEED
An understanding of sales, demand planning and supply planning. Understanding of the new product development, new product life cycle and product-phase-out processes. Exposure to, and understanding of, financial planning and the linkages between the demand/supply plan and the financial plan. Understanding of supply chain flexibility, how it can be increased or decreased, and the associated costs.-
