About the Role:
The Claims Specialist EPC roleis responsible for adjustment of claims emanating from Energy, Property & Construction Classes of Business but with a focus on D&F Property. The role reports directly to the Claims Manager EPC.
About the Department & Team:
The LSM Claims Department is responsible for delivering effective and efficient claims handling and monitoring expertise together with the provision of information and analytical support for the business. This is done whilst have due regard to both the principles of treating the customer fairly and the LSM Conduct Risk appetite.
Key Responsibilities:
To personally adjust claims from first advice to conclusion on losses emanating from EPC classes of business Represent Liberty in market meetings. To adhere to the authority requirements of the role as agreed. To support the management of all third-party relationship where the third party has delegated claims handling authority. Training and development of junior members of the team Adherence to all relevant regulatory requirements forms part of your role, and the demonstration of behaviours as set out in the Conduct Risk Policy, as they relate to your role, is core to LSM's commitment to our Liberty Values, placing customers at the centre of our business and behaving with integrity. LSM expects you to understand your responsibilities relating to all regulatory and internal requirements, and to proactively demonstrate compliance with these requirements and behaviours at all times. These requirements include the Senior Managers and Certification Regime Conduct Rules ,Solvency II, fair treatment of customers, Financial Crime, Data Protection, Conflicts of Interest, and Whistleblowing.Skills and Experience
London Market experience essential Proven record of maintaining effective relationships with key external stakeholders Ability to make decisions and exhibit sound and reasoned judgment and/or escalate as necessary. Competent organizational, interpersonal and relationship building skills. Competent analytical and oral/written presentation skills Strong negotiation skills Ability to work alone or as part of a team. Self-motivated and dynamic Ability to manage/prioritise multiple tasks.
