We areseeking a motivated and detailoriented IT Application Supportprofessional to join a leading automotivecompany.


JobOverviewInthis role you will play a vital part in maintaining and supportingIT systems hardware and software. You will be responsible fortroubleing technical issues managing user accounts and deliveringexceptional customer service to both internal and externalendusers. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of ITsystems strong problemsolving abilities and a genuine pion fortechnology.


Additionallyyou will manage small projects and workstreams collaborating withvarious business units to gather requirements for new systems andimprovements to existing ones. You will act as a liaison betweenbusiness stakeholders and technical project teams ensuringsuccessful implementation and progress tracking. You will alsosupport system integration testing user acceptance testing (UAT)and traininginitiatives.


Responsibilities:
  • Providetechnical support to endusers including troubleing hardwaresoftware and networkissues.
  • istwith the installation configuration and maintenance of computersystems and softwareapplications.
  • Manageuser accounts including setting up new accounts resetting pwordsand configuring accesspermissions.
  • Monitorand maintain IT equipment inventory including desktops laptopsprinters andperipherals.
  • Performroutine system backups and ensure data integrity andsecurity.
  • Doenttechnical procedures system configurations and troubleingsteps.
  • Collaboratewith the IT team to implement improve and support new technologiesandupgrades.
  • Providetraining and support to employees on ITrelated issues and bestpractices.
  • istwith ITrelated projects asneeded.


Requirements
  • Adegree in Information Technology Computer Science or a relatedfield; or equivalent workexperience.
  • 36years IT work experience preferably in Automotive industry but notessential.
  • Workingexperience of Microsoft Dynamics is highly preferred. Knowledge ofPower BI and SAP or other ERP system will bebeneficial.
  • Experiencewith help desk software and ticketing systems is aplus.
  • Basicproject management ss and business ystss
  • Basicknowledge of operating systems and common business softwareapplications.
  • Strongproblemsolving and ytical ss with the ability to trouble technicalissues.
  • Excellentcommunication ss and the ability to work effectively with endusersof varying technicalexpertise.
  • Detailorientedwith strong organisational ss and the ability to manage multipletaskssimultaneously.
  • Certification(e.g. CompTIA A Microsoft Certified IT Specialist) is aplus.


A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a relatedfield; or equivalent work experience. 3-5 years IT work experience,preferably in Automotive industry but not essential. Workingexperience of Microsoft Dynamics is highly preferred. Knowledge ofPower BI and SAP or other ERP system will be beneficial. Experiencewith help desk software and ticketing systems is a plus.
