Science Teachers required for secondary schools in Southampton

Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join our team and inspire students in secondary schools across Portsmouth. Responsibilities:
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective science lessons to secondary school students.
  • Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Develop and implement individualised learning plans to meet the diverse needs of pupils.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages pupil participation and engagement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school administration to support pupil learning and development.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices and curriculum changes.
  • Maintain accurate records of pupil attendance, grades, and other required documentation.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A degree in Science or a related field.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive learning environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development and a passion for teaching.
