We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and enthusiasticnurse to the role of paediatric manager for our inpatient area, community, outpatients and child development centre
The paediatric manager will play an essential role in the patient's journey.
The post holder will work in partnership with the Clinical Leads and deputies on the children's ward, community outpatients and child development centre to ensure that high standards of nursing care are provided at all times.
To apply for this post, you will need to be a strong leader, who can manage an established multi-disciplinary staff group. You need to be passionate and committed to delivering high standards of care; and need to ensure that all the people use our services have a positive experience.
The post holder will be a full time band 7 supervisory manager working Monday to Friday but may occasionally need to work clinically when the service dictates.
Main duties of the job
As an experienced Children's Nurse, the post holder will manage a team of Nurses and Advanced Health Care Assistants. You will be responsible for overseeing the successful day-to-day running of the ward, community, outpatients and child development centre.
The post holder will act as a role model, promoting quality evidence-based practice, developing the Nursing Teams by providing education, best practice guidance and support and ensuring effective management of the patient.

Essential
Registered Sick Children's Nurse/RN(Child) currently validated on the NMC register Masters or First Level degree (HEI 6) or ? significant demonstrable experience in nursing practice. Relevant specialist post basic education A&E Course, Leadership Course/diploma preferably at degree level Advanced Paediatric Life Support provider
