Cambridge, United Kingdom TTP Full time

Join a pioneering team driving innovation in Cell & Gene product development at TTP We're looking for an experienced Technical Project Leader to spearhead our technically challenging, multi-phase, development projects and help bring groundbreaking solutions to life.

As part of our Cell & Gene team you’ll develop bespoke, innovative hardware solutions in the field of cell and gene therapies. We combine biology, engineering, and physical sciences to develop solutions such as scalable manufacturing systems to help fight cancer.

From capturing requirements to delivering prototypes ready for manufacture, you’ll be involved in the full product development lifecycle. You'll be working with our interdisciplinary team of engineers, biologists, chemists and physicists to realise the projects and bring the most innovative products to market. Leading projects at TTP is a truly rewarding experience; it’s your project – and you’re empowered to deliver. You’ll drive technical collaboration, project team engagement, and client relationships. You’ll always have the chance to stay hands-on while leading and collaborating within a team.

Lastly, your experience working within Cell & Gene will have given you deep market and technology insight and will enable you to uncover valuable new business opportunities and even new areas of technology.

Requirements

You're:

  • A technical specialist in an area that is translatable to the Cell and Gene field.
  • Able to lead and shape high-pressure and always evolving projects.
  • Able to act as coach, advisor, interpreter, advocate and confidant for the client.

We expect you will bring:

  • Experience leading complex technical projects in the cell & gene or wider biotechnology field.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
  • Business development expertise or experience of developing customer relationships.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
  • An excellent academic record with a degree in a relevant scientific or engineering discipline.
  • Willingness to travel internationally.

We value the collaborative culture we’ve built and see the benefit in-person interaction brings to our colleagues and the business. However, we understand the importance of work-life balance and offer freedom and flexibility in how you self-manage your working week.
