A special educational needs school we are proud to support is seeking an experienced and dedicated SEMH Teacher to join their fantastic team. Our school caters for students aged 7 - 16 with social, emotional and mental health difficulties, often accompanied with autism and ADHD.
As well as providing engaging lessons that are adapted to suit the needs of your students, you will inspire and motivate your students to excel as individuals. You will work tirelessly to support their personal development and wellbeing as well as their academic success.
The ideal candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (ECT’s welcome to apply)
- Confident at delivering core subjects (English and Maths) from the national curriculum
- Creative, outgoing, adaptable and hard working
- Flexible and a ‘can do’ attitude
About the school:
- 11-16 special school with over 100 students
- Close knit team who work relentlessly to support each other as well as the students
- Based across 2 sites
- New, purpose built nurture facility, welcoming two new year 7 classes this year
- Earlier school day to suit the needs of the students
- Small class sizes (maximum of 10 students)
- High staff to student ratio
Working Hours:
8:00 AM - 3:00 PM, Monday to Friday, term-time only.

Working with Long-term Teachers:
