We’re looking for a Restaurant Duty Managers to join our management team in our Bognor resort in both our retail and guest catering venues

About the role

Responsible for the efficient restaurant operation within our bustling on site locations, you’ll ensure that the highest standard of service is met consistently, ensuring that we delight our guests and receive positive feedback.

Leading a team within the restaurant to not only deliver the best service to our customers but to make sure the team are always engaged and carrying out best practise, you will support with the opening and closing procedure for each shift efficiently, whilst responding to any guest or team queries and ensuring all food safety and health and safety paperwork is completed in line with company policy and standards.

This role covers a 5-day working week over 7 days, so flexibility is very important. Our buffet restaurants run from 7:30 – 12pm for breakfast and 4pm  - 8:30 for dinner and our other retail restaurants can open and close between the hours of 7am – 2am.

As part of the Resorts management team, it will be your responsibility to manage both your internal team and external service providers to ensure full compliance of all H&S polices are adhered to.

You will also oversee all team activities within the department including recruitment, performance, and team development. You should be a real advocate for your team’s fulfilment at work, ensuring that you are having regular 121's and PDP discussions to support their development and career with Butlin’s.

As with all roles at Butlin’s, no day will be the same and you will need to enjoy thinking on your feet, getting stuck in, and ensuring that our guest experience is always your number one priority.

About You

We are looking for an experienced F&B leader that can support the team to deliver fantastic food and great service, putting the guests first in everything you do. You will have experience in training and coaching the team in a fun-filled environment to deliver an excellence experience.

You should have previous experience in busy restaurant or food services environments where a balance of speed and quality is important. You should be confident to direct and respond in any situation whilst delivering consistent brand standards.

The ability to lead, motivate and engage your team, even at periods of high demand is important, as well as being able to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly to changing requirements.

With strong leadership skills, you should be confident in inspiring your team to deliver amazing results for our teams and guests every day.
