An excellent opportunity has arisen in of Engineering for Services capability for a Technical Specialist with experience in Equipment Health Monitoring .
You will have technical expertise in health management (condition management) system design and application across the SATAA framework - Sense [onboard sensor technology & signal processing], Acquire [data volume optimisation], Transfer [data packaging, compression, communication technologies, IOT Technologies & data security], Analyse [processing algorithms, anomaly detection systems, noise filtering], Act [Alerting systems, false positive management, decision making processes, user trust and human factors].

As the Technical Specialist, you will drive and influence teams across the business to avoid and contain issues in service through architecting and realising an effective end-to-end (on product, on platform, off platform) health management capability - as part of Integrated Platform Health Management. This is critical to the effective asset management of installed products enabling delivery of required data, related services, design verification and product support.

What you will be doing:
You will be supporting the development and execution of the In Service strategy collaborating with both internal and external networks;
Providing technical direction, supporting and delivering training to peers and more junior professionals, and technical leadership to teams and projects. Leading the definition of capability projects including capturing requirements, creating proposals, achieving stakeholder approval, acquiring funding and aligning partner support Supporting the development and application of new capabilities; leading capability development projects Leading the resolution of new and emerging technical, compliance and business problems using analytical processes and professional judgement Ensuring appropriate policies, standards and best practices are defined, shared and adoptedWho we are looking for:

Experience of Equipment Health Monitoring / Condition Based Monitoring in complex engineering products. To work for Rolls-Royce Submarines you need to hold a Security Check (SC) clearance without any caveats to that clearance. Rolls-Royce will support the application for Security Clearance if you don’t currently already have this in place.
