Position Summary

Suitable for or a skilled mechanical assembly fitter with experience in, large/multistage API pumps (e.g. BB3 / BB5 / VS).The day-today responsibilities include:

Inspection, refurbishment and repair of a wide range rotating pump machinery. Identifying suitable machining or mechanical repair processes Mechanical fitting and assembly to manufacturing drawings Preparing all associated equipment for site installation Working to Quality & H&S processes, and participating in the safety culture in the workshop Resolving issues by thinking creatively, and with a continuous improvement mindset, to meet project milestones.

Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels within Service Centre.

Has a keen eye for detail

Ideally can also operate machine tools, such as lathes, drills, presses and grinders.

Essential Responsibilities

Position Requirements

Education :

Skilled Trade Certificate . HNC/HND would be beneficial

Experience : 5 years with multistage / API pumps

Other Skills/Knowledge/Experience :

- Capable of meeting all certification requirements as per customer specifications.

- Read complex drawings/diagrams.

- Capable of following all service repair procedures.

- Use scales, calipers and other measuring instruments.

- Follow instructions

- Demonstrates strong self starting and initiative & skills in a PRO ServicesTM Center

- Strong communication skills.

- Demonstrates a desire to help grow the business.

- A team player.

- Shows initiative, is innovative & is a self-starter
