Aramark UK are currently recruiting Casual Mobile Chefs in their Defence sector to be a part of our integral team in Scotland. 

 

As a Mobile Chef, you will travel to various sites around Scotland, running stand-alone camp kitchens, cooking for many cadet training camps. You will support day-to-day operations by preparing and serving food, supporting the kitchen team and any other reasonable duties. This is a zero-hour contract - the same as agency work except you are also eligible for Aramark benefits.

You must be eligible to work in the UK and have resided in-country for more than 3 years. Security checks are required for this role.

  • We are offering a zero-hour contract, working as and when required. You will be working over a variety of different days including some occasional weekend work. The hourly rate is £13.

A day in the life of a Mobile Chef:
  • You will be running standalone camp kitchens, cooking for cadet training camps. 
  • Stocking up, stock rotation, facing up, spot cleaning, cleaning dining and serving areas, both front and back of house. You will also be loading and unloading deliveries. 
  • Liaising with members of the cadet training camps and the STC management team. 
  • Completion of all relevant kitchen paperwork. 
     
You will be set up for success if you have:
  • Previous customer facing / food service experience is desirable, however full training will be given on site. 
  • For this role you must be 18+ 
  • Must have eligibility to work in the UK and have resided for longer than 3 years. Security checks are required for this role 
  • Relevant culinary qualifications 
  • Must have a full driving license with no more than 6 points.
