Our client are looking for an ambitious accounts payable/accounts assistant to join the finance department on a full time, permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking to progress within accounts and work alongside senior accounts members to develop.

This role would suit someone studying AAT as the company are offering a study package for the successful applicant.

You will join a team of 4 and report into the Finance Manager.

Duties include:

  • Processing of weekly payment runs (BACS and CHAPS)
  • Processing high volume invoices
  • Matching POs
  • Setting up new supplier accounts
  • Processing credit notes using an ERP system
  • Liaise with suppliers to resolve queries
  • Investigate payment queries
  • Prepare supplier invoice payments
  • Reconcile supplier statements
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Other ad-hoc duties
