The Role

This is leadership role within the COE is to support the Credit Manager in the management of the team and their day-to-day tasks with regards to Credit management, Accounts Receivable process & the Order and Export processes. The role is responsible for leadership, expertise, and advice to the team to enable them to deliver to a consistently high standard the key activities within these functions.

The role holder will bring knowledge and future vision for transforming the function including its processes, service performance and workforce success. Key Accountabilities

Manage the day-to-day activities of the team, including motivating them, managing performance, training, and maintaining a shift rota and cover to support the business agreed hours.  Manage a geographically disparate team. Prepare & analyse KPI to drive the team performance. Work with the business and customers to resolve customer discrepancies in a timely manner. Identify areas for improvements and help to resolve problems through the appropriate choice of error detection and correction, process control and improvement, or process design strategies. Become a partner to the business by developing a clear understanding of their needs, acting as a trusted advisor, and ensuring cost-effective delivery of services to meet those needs. Control costs for the team to ensure that it is managed and at its lowest cost point for the quality required by the business. Defines, develops, and manages best-practice processes, disciplines, and related toolsets.  Operates a formal governance mechanism to establish and monitor effective controls for the processes and functions performed by the teams. This will include KPI which will demonstrate the continued improvement of services and ensure any gaps are known and repaired. Supports periodic reviews by internal audit, compliance teams and other risk-related functions as required. Works with HR and the leadership team to develop and execute workforce plans that ensure we supply skilled resources to meet current and future demand. Drives the adoption of (and commitment towards) Continuous Improvement. Ensure knowledge of and compliance with all Company Policies, Procedures and Rules. Ensure compliance with local legislation and regulatory requirements relating to business activities in every country where we are active. Respond to escalated incidents.
