Home Category Development Manager

Salary Circa £50,000

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Home Category Development Manager to join our team. This is a great job for someone with a background in claims, underwriting or pricing with a good knowledge of Personal Home Insurance products and is looking for a new challenge. Whether experienced or ready for the next step up, this role will allow you to influence the future of Home Insurance while getting great exposure into the business

A bit about the job:

This role is key to our business as your work will help the Home Portfolio meet its profit and growth ambitions, while providing recognition and encouragement to the team.

You will be responsible for a range of work, including:

Working with Chief Underwriting Officers and their teams to understand their requirements and business plans, helping them deliver on their strategic goals Communicating with senior leaders to prioritise deliveries, explain benefits to their areas and help unblock delivery paths Assist with the generation of ideas, bringing together experts from around the business to collaborate and implement change Develop a culture where commercialism, improvement and efficiency are combined to support a relentless focus on delivering outstanding performance

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

Good working knowledge of personal home insurance products Commercial acumen with the ability to manage and prioritise your workload within business objectives Experience of effective stakeholder management and engagement Be able to lead the business towards incremental improvements Easily adapts to changing circumstances with enthusiasm

Salary circa £50,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications) Bonus opportunity - 10% of annual salary Actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva’s.
