Job Description

Nursery Practitioner - Level 3

Hourly Rate: £12

Hours per week: 36, across 4 days

We are seeking a dedicated Level 3 Practitioner to join our client's inclusive and diverse nursery team with great working hours (4 days a week, 9.00 am - 5.00 pm all year round role). The successful candidate will play a key role in providing high-quality care and education to children, promoting their well-being and development in a nurturing environment. This position can be based in either the Pre-school or Baby room depending on your preference.

Qualifications
  • Level 3 in Early Years or above
  • Proven experience as a Nursery Practitioner or Nursery Room Leader.
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of the EYFS framework and child development.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
  • Passion for promoting diversity, equality, and inclusion within the nursery environment.


Responsibilities
  • Support the Nursery Deputy Manager in the day-to-day operation of the nursery, ensuring the highest standards of care and education are maintained.
  • Plan, deliver, and evaluate a range of stimulating activities and experiences in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
  • Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues to create a welcoming and inclusive environment.
  • Be a key person for a group of children, observing and planning for their individual needs and interests.
  • Contribute to the implementation of safeguarding, health and safety, and child protection policies and procedures.
  • Support the Room Leader in supervising and mentoring staff members, contributing to their professional development.
