The base
We moved into our new HQ in the City of London in 2018. We’re close to our clients, in the heart of the UK’s financial centre. And we have everything we need to work flexibly.

The team
The newly formed Schroders Solutions division currently looks after £235bn in assets across DB, DC and Insurance clients, predominantly based in the UK. You'll be working in the UK Client Solutions team. We are responsible for the design and delivery of tailored investment strategies for our clients. We lead engagements with a range of pension scheme clients, bringing deep investment knowledge and investment strategy insights to our client relationships. We come from a variety of backgrounds including pensions, investment and actuarial consulting, solutions and asset management.

What you’ll do

Support the Head of ESG – UK Client Solutions in meeting the ESG needs of our fiduciary management and OCIO clients and support enhancements in the ESG proposition; Ensure delivery of quarterly and annual ESG and climate client reporting and training to fulfil UK ESG pensions regulations and in meeting best practice; Be the main point of contact for consultant, client and third-party evaluator queries, questionnaires and RFPs in relation to the ESG proposition; Attend client meetings and third-party evaluator meetings as required to represent the ESG proposition; Developing ESG content, thought pieces and supporting the creation of new ESG initiatives and propositions to bring to market across the UK pensions landscape; Support clients with specific ESG goals with strategy design and in providing quantitative ESG analysis, with recommendations tailored to the client requirements; Assisting with stewardship activity with underlying managers, identifying areas for engagement and Work closely with the central sustainability team as required to meet ESG client reporting, training and/or investment needs

The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need

Experienced professional with a background in investment consulting and leading small to medium sized client relationships; Strong knowledge of ESG investing and ESG regulation as it applies to UK pension schemes; Great communication and team working skills and a collaborative attitude; The ability to work co-operatively with a range of groups and deliver agreed projects on time in line with client expectations and A sound working knowledge of UK pension schemes, the investment challenges they face, and the regulatory environment in which they operate.

The knowledge, experience and qualifications that will help

Extensive experience within a solutions, asset management or investment consulting business; Experience working with Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution schemes or other institutional investor types and Attained a professional qualification such as the CFA’s Certificate in ESG Investing.
