We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic English Teacher to join our vibrant secondary school in Rawtenstall on a full-time, temporary to permanent basis.

Role Overview:

As an English Teacher, you will play a crucial role in delivering engaging and interactive lessons to students across various year groups. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and delivering high-quality English lessons that cater to the diverse needs of our students.
  • Inspiring a love for reading, writing, and critical thinking among pupils.
  • Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback to support their development.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for English literature and language.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
