Parks Caretakers

Job Description
Nirvana Managed Services is a Facilities Management Company in Chester covering Chester and North Wales and the Wirral. We provide cleaning, caretaking and site management to both public and private sector. We are currently seeking a compassionate and responsible Caretaker to join our team.

**Job Description:**
As a Caretaker, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and maintenance of the our parks in the Chester City Centre you are assigned to. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the overall appearance and functionality of our sites, as well as providing assistance and support to residents/employees/visitors as needed.

**Responsibilities:**
- Perform general cleaning duties, such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting
- Conduct regular inspections of the properties to identify maintenance issues and safety hazards
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate supervisor or maintenance team
- Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Ensure all safety protocols and regulations are followed at all times
- Respond promptly and professionally to any requests or concerns from visitors

**Requirements:**
- Previous experience in caretaking, janitorial, or maintenance roles preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy objects
- Basic knowledge of maintenance and repair tasks

**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Certification in caretaking or maintenance services
- Experience working in a similar environment (e.g., residential community, school, commercial property)
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations

Hours of work are 4 on and 4 off 05.30 - 08.30. A company vehicle is supplied with the job.
