Evening Shunter Supervsior

We are looking for a motivated individual to work within our UPS Team at a commercial vehicle depot in Southampton (SO15 0LW). 

• Monday to Friday
• 17:00 - 22:00pm 
• 25 hours a week
• £13 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the safe movement of large vehicles around the depots.
• Ensuring the cleaning team hit wash targets.
• Request materials for the site.
• Carry out washing/valet cleaning as and when required.
• Maneuvering vehicles into wash areas, correct loading bays and parked ready for next operating service as per the UPS line up sheet. 
• Supervise the cleaning by checking and maintaining high standards in the washing/cleaning of both exteriors and interiors of commercial vehicles.
• Operate vehicle safely, ensuring driver actions do not endanger self or other road users.

What are we looking for?

• Valid UK Clean Manual Driving Licence (can drive 3.5t vehicles).
• Experience with vehicle washing/shunting.
• Experience in a supervisor role.
• IT literate (use of tablet, smart phone apps).
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written (English).
