Job Description

What will you be doing? 

As a I&C Radioprotection Engineer, you will join Bristol team to support our activities within the Nuclear sector. 

Your main responsibilities will be: 

  • The role of I&C Radioprotection engineer consists of monitoring main equipment supplier handovers on the scope of nuclear instrumentation and radioprotection equipment KRC (personnel radioactivity monitoring and protection)
  • The contract engineering lead service main mission is to ensure:
  • Technical clarification and resolution of supplier and client technical queries
  • Technical management of the supplier and support to the client in their contractual relationship during design, procurement and delivery phase regarding the schedule, costs, specifications and requisitions.
  • Follow up of all equipment manufacturing and delivery to site
  • Lead reviews of supplier technical documents and annual surveillance report
  • Management of risks, opportunities, open points, design changes and exemptions requests generated by our supplier
  • Management of contract transfer sheets that informs the clients about contract modification via dedicated tools
  •  Management of interfaces with disciplines involved in the radioprotection equipment contracts

Qualifications

Experience, skills and qualifications required: 

  • Bachelors / Masters degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
  • Knowledge of the RCC-E electrical technical regulations and the technical reference system (NFC15-100 / NF C 13-200 / BS7671 / IEC 60909)
  • Knowledge of nuclear industy or previous work experience in the sector
  • Knowledge of processes involved in industrial projects in the energy field
  • Experienced in technical documentation reviews
  • Experienced in radioprotection field, instrumentation equipment design, procurement, testing or installation
