Pastoral Mentor

Teaching Personnel in partnership with a secondary SEMH provision in Leyland who are looking to hire two full-time pastoral mentors, who will be classroom based to support the behaviour and education of the pupils in the class. The school support secondary aged pupils (11-16 years) with SEMH additional needs. Their class sizes are small 6-10 pupils per class and their time in class includes interventions for their EHC Plans and educational lessons to promote their overall development.

Key Information

-          Competitive hourly rate of pay £11.85 p/h - £12.35 p/h.

-          Full-time working hours 8:30am- 3:30pm Monday to Friday.

-          SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) additional needs.

-          Challenging behaviours, need to be resilient and pro-active.

-          Leyland based (PR25).

-          Start date ASAP
