Teaching Assistant

Location: South Ockendon
Salary: £80 - £100 per day
Contract Type: Full-time/Part-time

About Us

GSL Education are seeking Teaching Assistants for wonderful co-educational school in South Ockendon. This role provides an excellent opportunity for interested individuals to gain classroom experience and contribute to the development of young learners. Our mission is to connect dedicated and skilled individuals with schools where they can make a real difference.

Teaching Assistants Role and Responsibilities:

  • Work alongside teachers to support the learning and development of students.
  • Assist in creating and implementing individualized education plans that address students' specific needs.
  • Help manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive learning environment.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment by monitoring and providing regular feedback of the students.
  • Encourage and motivate students to reach their full potential.

Teaching Assistant Requirements:

  • Possess a Teaching Assistant qualification (e.g. CACHE Level 2 or 3).
  • Previous experience in a similar role is desirable (Not essential).
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
  • Have an updated CV (covering last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
  • Be ambitious to work within the education sector.
