Job Description
Location Stockport.
The Dictionary Manager is responsible for consistent, high quality delivery of BAU services, and plays a leading role in large scale project work, providing specialist input to inform project objectives and optimise project approach.
Responsibilities:
Communicates fluently, orally and in writing, and can present complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences Works effectively with both internal and external customers and partners to achieve departmental objectives Provides Mentorship to the Senior Analysts Investigates, defines and resolves complex issues Develops & delivers stakeholder education materials Is accountable for ensuring all appropriate process documentation within specialism is complete and up to date Provides input into the mission, vision and strategy of department as relates to own specialism Plays a leading role in the definition of departmental KPIs and objectives within own specialism and is responsible for ensuring that agreed standards are achieved Supervises others and makes decisions which influence the success of projects and team objectives Proactively identifies opportunities for improvements to processes that Data Prep either owns or is a customer of and initiates action to realise those improvements Collaborates with HODP to inform departmental resource plans Leads in the creation of job specs for team positions & in the recruitment process for team membersRequirements:
Comfortable with team/people management & experience of this Awareness of data preparations function Proficiency in Excel Experience of stakeholder management Attention to detail Experience of holding performance reviews
