A Fantastic opportunity to work for a leading FM Service Provider situated in Watford. CBW is currently looking for a Fabric Engineer to be based in a commercial building. The successful candidate will be experienced working as a Fabric engineer with a proven track record in commercial building maintenance. Working with the maintenance team on-site, He or she will be required to carry out fabric maintenance duties and any other requested tasks on site.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Plumbing – washers, taps, unblocking toilets, unblocking stacks, installing new sinks, urinals and toilets, pipework (copper or PVC)
  • Carpentry – hanging doors, new locks, architrave, window frames, boxing in, assembling furniture
  • Tiling – floors, walls and Carpet tiles
  • Painting & Decorating
  • Plastering 
  • Fixing Furniture
  • Hanging Pictures & Shelves
Hours of work / Rate / contract details

  • Monday - Friday
  • 8am - 5pm
  • Starting 9th September 
  • £19p/h - ( paid via umbrella )
  • Parking on site
Requirements
  • Experience working as a Fabric maintenance engineer
  • Fabric qualified - Plumbing, Carpentry ( C&G, NVQ )
  • A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
  • Good communication skills
  • Client Facing
  • Immediately available or able to start at short notice
