Salary: £130 - £180 per day

Are you a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher looking for an exciting opportunity to inspire young minds? We are seeking an enthusiastic Science Teacher to join our dynamic school in Washington, Tyne and Wear. This is a fantastic chance to make a real impact and help students achieve their full potential in the field of science.

As a Science Teacher, you will be responsible to deliver high-quality science education to the students. You will work closely with other staff members to create a stimulating learning environment and ensure that all students are supported in their educational journey.

Responsibilities of Science Teacher:

• Plan and deliver high-quality science lessons to students.
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the curriculum standards.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support as needed.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Participate in school events and extracurricular activities.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience.

Requirements of Science Teacher:

• A degree in Science or a related field.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A passion for teaching and inspiring young people.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
• Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years, barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
