Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust are looking for an exceptional Band Continence Specialist Nurse to join our talented and committed integrated community team covering the Peterborough area.
The post will be hours a week and you will be required to travel county wide.
The role includes assessing complex patients in their home or in a nurse led clinic setting, participating in teaching and mentoring of other professionals, engaging in clinical trials and research and have an in-depth knowledge of continence formularies. You will be required to work closely with other stakeholders.

The post holder will undertake all aspects of clinical duties as an autonomous practitioner and will be supported by senior colleagues, they will participate in evidence-based audits and research projects.
Main duties of the jobTo provide an advanced standard of clinical assessment evidence-based advice and education to individuals with bladder and bowel problems.
To plan, implement and evaluate specialist packages of care for individuals with bladder and bowel problems.
To work as part of the multidisciplinary team with the aim of preventing admission, supporting early discharge and providing ongoing or shared care for patients with continence problems.
To provide advice and education to the general public and other healthcare
professionals.
