The Role 

As a Crew and Information Controller, the two main competencies for the role are the assignment of drivers and crew to shuttles, and the management of information.

The Crew Controller assigns drivers and train crew members to shuttles in real time. In terms of planning, they will be responsible for resources and movements according to events to optimise the number of missions initially planned. In the event of an unexpected situation, they will adapt the timetable and communicate this information.

The Information Controller collects, records, and communicates the information associated with rail activity and events in real time. The Controller’s immediate action is vital for operational activities to run smoothly, to promote high-quality information and customer service levels.

Qualifications and Experience 

Educated to A-Level standard or equivalent. 

Previous experience in a Railway and/or Control Centre environment would be beneficial. 

The ability to communicate in French to an intermediate level (B2 or above).

A Driving Licence is essential to facilitate reaching place of work in either UK or France (at least 20% of shifts will be planned in the staff member’s country of residence).
