The Home

Rosevale Lodge Care Home is a purpose built Nursing and Residential care home situated next to the River Lagan and close to Lisburn Town centre with access to local shops, bus and train services. It caters for 68 residents living with Dementia. We have two units that are separated into a Dementia Nursing unit and a Dementia Residential unit. There is a car park onsite. Facilities offered include single rooms, a hairdressing salon, spacious lounges, cheerful dining rooms, a sunroom, an enclosed garden, lift access and two bedrooms have ensuite facilities.

The Role

To provide high-quality person-centred care to the residents of the home, supporting with their everyday needs and contributing to their enjoyment of life.

Main Responsibilities

  • Assist qualified staff with care plans, tasks and activities to support the wellbeing, dignity and treatment of residents
  • Participate in activities, motivating and supporting residents to get involved
  • Assist residents with eating, drinking, washing, dressing and going to the toilet
  • Assess and observe the emotional and physical wellbeing of residents, recognising changes and reporting as necessary in a timely manner
  • Maintain accurate records, communicating effectively with residents and their families

You will need:

  • To be a good listener, showing patience, compassion, empathy and understanding
  • A good standard of written and oral English
  • Experience in Health and Social Care not required as full training will be provided
  • The Right to Work in the UK
  • Be NISCC registered or eligible to register
