As a PCB Layout Engineer, you will work in a multi-facet role focused on PCB layout as well as design and assembly documentation control. You will work with a multi-disciplinary electronics team, in one of Baker Hughes most cutting-edge facilities.

As a PCB Layout Engineer, you will be responsible for:

Interfacing with electronics design engineers to convert their schematics into printed circuit boards with design for manufacturability and signal integrity best practices applied

Managing revision control over board files, BOMs, and manufacturing documentation for PCBs.

Contributing to documentation and change management processes for power and electronic components and systems development

Exemplifying compliance with all applicable health, safety, environment, and export control policies and regulations

Developing and protect of high-value intellectual property via patent submission

To be successful in this role you will:

Have experience creating PCB layouts and manufacturing file sets (gerbers, drill files, assembly drawings, ect.)

Have experience with Altium or and equivalent PCB CAD program. We are more interested in a good understanding of manufacturability of PCB designs and signal integrity of the layouts.

Experience with SAP interfaces for engineering change management software. (preferred but not required)
Have an appreciation for DFM/DFA/DFX.

Hands-on experience designing, prototyping and testing custom designed electronic boards for data acquisition, signal processing, and digital communication protocols would be beneficial.
