We're seeking a junior to mid-level corporate/commercial lawyer to join our Legal team to support several of the Senior Counsels advising the Sony Electronics business in its European operations across a broad range of legal issues, corporate transactions and contract negotiations. Provide commercially focused legal advice and recommendations to the business in different jurisdictions, ensuring that advice is conveyed clearly, understandable, and relevant to the business requirement.

Advise on commercial disputes, litigation and regulatory enquiries, working with external counsel where required.

Prepare and provide training on key legal topics impacting the business.

You will bring:

Qualification to practice law in England and Wales (consideration will be given to candidates with suitable experience who are qualified to practice in other European jurisdictions).

Proven post-qualification experience acquired in private practice (preferably) and/or in-house.

Experience working on corporate transactions, contract drafting, negotiating, and presentation skills.

Commercial approach to legal issues.

Proficient in English. Other language skills or experience of other legal jurisdictions would be useful.
