Job Objective

Loughview Leisure Group have a new and exciting opportunity for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our finance part-time basis, 20 hours per week.  This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a growing and dynamic organisation.   

About The Role

Main Responsibilities

  • Receiving purchase invoices for 3 hotels via both email and post

  • Checking and coding purchase invoices and entering them on Sage in a timely and accurate manner

  • Dealing with invoice queries and responding to supplier payment requests via telephone and email

  • Updating supplier payment requests list and preparing payments on Sage for authorisation and input to the bank

  • Setting up new supplier accounts and maintaining existing ones

  • Providing administrative support to other departments – eg photocopying, scanning, responding to emails

  • Support the accounts team with any further duties as and when required

Desired Criteria

  • 1 years experience in an Accounts Assistant role
  • Experience of using Sage Accounts packages
  • Ability to commute reliably

Required Criteria

  • GCSE grade A-C in English Language and Math or equivalent qualifications
  • Experience of using Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent communication and organisation skills
  • Ability to prioritise and manage a varied workload whilst maintaining a high degree of accuracy
  • Available to work some Public holidays and occasional weekends on a rota basis.
