Computer Configuration Warehouse Operative (Night Shift)

Sunday-Thursday 21:45-06:15

£13.95 per hour for the first 12 weeks

After 12 weeks: £14.27 per hour with Overtime paid at x1.5

Long term role, turning permanent for the right person in the future

Are you an experienced warehouse operative with a good knowledge of computer hardware and software?

Do you know how to set up and configure laptops, desktops and Android based devices?

Are you confident working within a warehouse environment that has manual handling and where you are active all day?

If you're nodding as you read the 3 questions, then we want to hear from you, we have a client that deals with technology products which is currently looking to expand their night shift team.

It's a nice role where you deal with computers, follow a job card, unbox items and make changes to the hardware or software before then re-boxing the products ready for dispatch.

There will be targets to hit, quality standards to follow and it's a role that requires you to think, react and follow a process.

What do I need to be considered?

  • Either an IT hobbyist or have some sort of IT experience/education
  • Knowledge of: hardware, software, input and output systems and troubleshooting issues.
  • Happy with a role which is warehouse based, working on your feet. This is not a role where you will sit behind a desk.
  • Able to start a new role within the next few working days
