We are working with anambitious and exceptional primary school based in Shinfield Readingthat is seeking a proactive and emotionally intelligent Year 4teacher for September 2024. Thechildren are hardworking caring inquisitive and imaginative and thestaff here aspire to develop wellrounded confident pupils through asupportive pastoral environment. Consequently we are seeking aprimary teacher who knows how to drive attainment and createengaging lessons.

Responsibilitiesof a Year 4 teacher:

As a Year 4teacher you will be responsible for the pastoral care of childrentaking their first steps in Key Stage 2 promoting teamwork andcultivating a conducive learning environment.

Teaching the Key Stage 2 curriculum to groups of children whilealso focusing on each individual childs learning targetsencouraging their strengths and improving theirweaknesses

Further developing maths ability andintroducing fractions statistics and geometry

Help children develop their writing ability by creating plotscharacters and settings for stories.

Keepingtrack of childrens progress and occasionally reporting back toparents
