Senior Data Analyst
100% remote role in UK

Are you a QEHS Senior Data Analyst who lives and breathes data?

Calling all Senior Data Analysts with a knack for turning numbers into narratives
We're seeking a Senior Data Analyst who can create magic with data, transforming raw information into captivating visualisations that drive our business decisions.
In this role, you'll harmonise insights from quality, environmental, health, safety, (QEHS) and regulatory domains.
With your enviable understanding of business operations, you'll compose data-driven solutions that resonate with process owners and stakeholders alike.
We need someone who can bring our data to life. You’ll be unveiling hidden patterns that allow us to make business critical decisions and changes.
Your confident communication skills will ensure not only that you forge strong partnerships across the company, but also you can lead and develop your team.
With the guidance of our data SMEs, you'll navigate data models, unearthing the insights we need to continue our accelerated growth.
What does the day-to-day look like?
Align with Business Process Owners to develop a Reporting & Analysis Requirements document.
Fine tune the questions and find the answers in the data
Develop the reports and analyses to align with the requirements document
Provide appropriate documentation around the calculations and methods utilised
Own the reports you develop, and tweak them as requirements evolve or data models change
Understand the data processes and conditions that drive the inputs into the data framework
Embrace creativity and leverage the appropriate visualisations, layouts, drilldowns and filters to provide information density
Focus on user-experience; be customer centric
Contribute to the Veolia WTS Data Analyst community, sharing and learning new techniques that drive best-in-class analyses and reports
Qualifications
What skills would you likely have?
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field
Proficiency in Tableau or similar data visualisation tools, with a proven track record of creating insightful dashboards and reports
Strong understanding of Quality, Environmental Health and Safety (EHS), and regulatory processes
Able to lead business teams to effectively document needs and requirements
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
Demonstrated experience in leading projects and initiatives to improve data quality and streamline processes.
Curious and collaborative mindset, with a passion for driving change and innovation.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
