We areseeking a fulltime Semi Senior Accountant to join one of ourclients located in ShorehamBy Sea working 37.5 hours per week. Thisrole requires someone with a knack for client communication servingas the primary point of contact for accountrelated inquiries. Theideal candidate will be comfortable interacting with clients bothover the phone and inperson.

Responsibilities:
  • Actas the first point of contact for client inquiries regardingaccounts.
  • Providedirect assistance to clients over the phone and in facetofacemeetings.
  • Possessproficiency in Sage Xero or QuickBooks with the ability to trainclients on these accountingpackages.
  • Maintaincomputer literacy and be willing to undertake internal IT taskssuch as softwareupdates.
  • Preferablylocated within proximity to ouroffice.
  • Experiencein payroll corporate and personal tax matters is beneficial but notmandatory.
  • Backgroundin a practice environment is preferred over industryexperience.
  • Willingnessto undergo training with the option of pursuing ACCA or ACAqualifications.


Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Priorclient contact experience is highlydesirable.
  • Proficiencyin Sage Xero or Quickbooks isrequired.
  • Strongcomputer skills and willingness to undertake internal ITtasks.
  • Familiaritywith payroll corporate and personal tax procedures isadvantageous.
  • Previousexperience in a practice setting ispreferred.
  • Candidateswithout formal qualifications will be considered if they possessrelevantexperience.
  • ACAor ACCA Part qualified or AAT qualified as a minimum.


BenefitsSalary:The salary for this position ranges from 25000 to 28000 dependingon the candidates level of experience andqualifications.

Qualifications: Prior client contact experience is highlydesirable. Proficiency in Sage, Xero, or Quickbooks is required.Strong computer skills and willingness to undertake internal ITtasks. Familiarity with payroll, corporate, and personal taxprocedures is advantageous. Previous experience in a practicesetting is preferred. Candidates without formal qualifications willbe considered if they possess relevant experience. ACA or ACCA Partqualified, or AAT qualified as a minimum.
