Cover Supervisor

Location: Braintree
Pay Scale: £100 - £130 per day
Requirements: Must have a driving license
Contract: Temporary, Full-Time
Start Date: ASAP

This position is perfect for those with strong classroom management skills who can create a supportive and focused learning environment.

Role Overview:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will oversee classrooms in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring students remain engaged with the pre-set work. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience in education and support young learners in a positive, structured setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and assist students as needed
  • Manage student behavior and maintain a productive classroom environment
  • Ensure students remain on task and follow the lesson plan
  • Provide feedback to teachers regarding any issues or achievements

Requirements:

  • A valid driving license and access to a vehicle (essential)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Previous experience working with young people is beneficial but not essential
  • Ability to manage classroom dynamics confidently
