Responsibilities of aReception Teacher

• As aReception Teacher you will be responsible for the pastoral care ofchildren taking their first steps in Early Years Foundation Stagepromoting teamwork and cultivating a conducive learningenvironment.
• Teaching the EYFS curriculum togroups of children while also focusing on each individual childslearning targets encouraging their strengths and improving theirweaknesses
• Further developing maths ability andintroducing fractions statistics andgeometry
• Help children develop their writingability by creating plots characters and settings forstories.
• Keeping track of childrens progressand occasionally reporting back toparents
