About the Role:
As a Senior Operations Manager, you will:
- Inspire and lead your regional team, driving business results.
- Set and achieve regional and stream strategies through proactive management.
- Develop and integrate new managers, fostering a high-performing team.
- Ensure operational excellence through coaching, training, and development.
- Act as a role model in culture, people management, and professional behaviour.
- Prepare and manage budgets, control costs, and optimise resources.
- Manage relationships with internal and external customers, exceeding service expectations.
- Implement new locations and ensure compliance with company and legal guidelines.
- Monitor and enhance health and safety practices.
To be successful in this position, you should have:
- Strong customer service skills and people management experience.
- Knowledge of ER policies, team building, fleet management, and budgeting.
- Background in distribution, fleet, or logistics management.
- Current UK Driving License (minimum three years) with 3 points or less.
- CPC international qualification and experience with an Operator's license.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Ocado systems.
- Coaching and team development at management level.
- Strong communication and motivational skills.
- Group management, problem-solving, and commercial acumen.
- Resilience, self-motivation, and flexibility.
- Strategic planning and presentation skills.
