TeamJobs have an exciting opportunity for a Property Surveyor to join our client based in Bournemouth - starting asap

Salary: Negotiable depending on experience

Hours: To be discussed

Main responsibilities

  • Provide leadership to the surveying team.
  • Liaise with the compliance manager on budgets - including necessary budget controls and financial regulations.
  • Take ownership of all aspects of the maintenance service.
  • Ensure all contracts and works are carried out in a safe manner.
  • Deliver all works in a customer focused way.
  • Take the lead on setting and enforcing standards of behaviour, compliance and health & safety.
  • Support the compliance manager on policy, procedure, processes and systems.
  • Work to plan and manage a rolling programme of condition surveys.
  • Lead on systems, data, performance and policy issues.
  • Develop clear, consistent and common component specifications across all work programmes.

The ideal candidate:

  • Problem solver.
  • Experience of leading a responsive repairs service.
  • Experience in planned investment, cyclical and reactive maintenance issues.
  • Knowledge of different forms of building contract e.g., JCT.
  • Health and safety regulations.
  • Relevant qualification in building/maintenance - min requirement NVQ Level 4.
  • Record of personal development.
