Job Duties:
  • Deliver engaging French and/or Spanish lessons to students

Required Qualifications:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Degree in French or related field
  • Fluency in French/Spanish and English
Education:
  • Degree in French/Spanish or related field
  • Teaching qualification (QTS)
Experience:
  • Minimum of 2 years experience teaching French or Spanish at the appropriate level
  • Experience working with students of diverse backgrounds
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of French or Spanish language and culture
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organisational and time management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Postgraduate qualification in Education
  • Experience with exam preparation (e.g., GCSE, A-Level)
Working Conditions:

Position Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced MFL Teacher to join our team at a reputable school in Yorkshire and the Humber. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging French and/or Spanish lessons to students, evaluating their progress and providing feedback, and creating a positive and inclusive learning environment. Collaborating with colleagues on curriculum development and effectively communicating with students, parents, and staff are also key duties of this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and lesson planning
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff on student progress and any issues
Qualifications:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Degree in French or related field
  • Fluency in French and/or Spanish and English
Education and Experience:
  • Degree in French or Spanish or related field
  • Teaching qualification (QTS)
  • Minimum of 2 years experience teaching French or Spanish at the appropriate level
