We are seeking to appoint a motivated and experienced Occupational Therapist to join the dynamic Occupational Therapy service as the Team Lead Occupational Therapist for the Acute Service based in Wrexham Maelor Hospital . The post is full time, working hours per week, and will include an opportunity to carry a clinical caseload at advanced practitioner level.

We welcome applications from Occupational Therapists with significant experience of acute Occupational Therapy and / or rehabilitation who are looking for a new challenge. 

Main duties of the job

You will have the opportunity to take on team leadership responsibilities, which will include developing and leading on service delivery, service development and staff development for the occupational therapy team within acute services.

There will also be a clinical element to the post, which will be decided upon in conjunction with the successful applicant. 

Applicants must demonstrate advanced knowledge and skills within an acute Occupational Therapy setting and have an interest in acute services. Excellent communication skills, the ability to work well in a team, an interest in the training and supervision of staff and a positive and flexible approach is essential.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
