Job summary

Modality Partnershiphas a vacancy for a Salaried GP (5 sessions a week) based at Smethwick Medical Practice, Birmingham Division. The postholder will be passionate aboutpatient care and contributing to theinnovation within the partnership in the way care is delivered. Main duties of the job

The role is apatient centred role delivered from your nominated practice site. Thepostholder will need to confidently evidence key skills such as excellentverbal and written communication skills, clinical skills and empoweringpatients to manage their individual health conditions. The usual duties of asalaried GP will be expected patient care through regular appointments, homevisits and the general administration for patient care. The postholder willwork in collaboration with their local practice team, engaging the use of theassociated roles that are be attached to the practice.

You will be part of anational partnership where there is resilience from a large group of GP Partnersto support where it is needed but also who are there to work closely with onkey decisions that shape the way in which we deliver patient care and influenceservice improvement. We stronglyencourage training to become a GP with specialist interest and haveopportunities for teaching and training.

Qualifications and Experience

Essential

We require high performing GPs to join our team. The following requirements must be met: GMC registered CCST for primary care in the UK Eligible to work in the UK MRCGP (Desirable) On the UK performers list for primary care Current valid driving licence/access to a car
