A reputable primary school in Colne (BB8), proudly rated 'GOOD' by Ofsted, is excited to announce an opportunity for a dedicated Year 5 Classroom Teacher to join their team on a permanent basis starting this September. The role will be 3 days per week, either Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

The Head Teacher is keen to meet ECT's and FQT's as they do have the resources in school to support a teacher through their ECT.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences.
- Develop schemes of work and lesson plans aligned with the National Curriculum.
- Assess and record students’ progress, preparing them for necessary assessments.
- Manage pupil behaviour in the classroom and on school premises.
- Participate in department, school, and parent meetings.
- Communicate necessary information regularly to students, colleagues, and parents regarding student progress and student needs.
- Organize the classroom environment to promote a positive learning experience.

Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of the primary curriculum and the specific needs of Year 5 students.
- Proven ability to develop and enhance a collaborative learning environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Commitment to professional development and maintaining high teaching standards.
- A passion for teaching and a commitment to providing students with the best possible education.
