An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the dynamic and innovative physiotherapy department at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery. We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Band 7 physiotherapist to join Therapy and Rehabilitation services on a Fixed Term Contract (FTC), covering Maternity Leave.
All Band 7 PT staff work with well-established interdisciplinary teams and rotate through specialised service areas including the Neuro Rehabilitation Unit, Neuro out-patients, Spasticity, Functional Neurological Disorders, FES/Orthotics, and Neuro in-patients, including Neurology, Neurosurgery and Stroke Services.
Main duties of the job
Band 7 rotations offer the opportunity to further develop skills in the assessment and management of patients with a wide range of complex and rare neurological disabilities. You must have substantive postgraduate experience in a physical, neurological setting.
Effective communication and a positive approach to the management of complex disability are essential.
Regular supervision and support for continued professional development is offered, and the opportunity to work on projects within your peer group.
