To be considered for the role of Nursery Manager you will have:
- Level 3 (or above) childcare qualification
- Good knowledge of the EYFS

About the Nursery:
The Nursery School is a much-loved Nursery school in Sittingbourne providing children aged 3 months to 5 years old a premium standard of early years care and education. The nursery is a 61 place nursery with the ages of 3 months- 5 years.
The nursery has a passionate team of educators who are committed to creating learning environments that allow children to be inquisitive, imaginative and develop a real love of learning. Educators encourage toddlers to develop language and social skills through group activities and large-scale floor-based games. Parents are updated on their child's progress during the two-year progress check which identifies any developmental needs. Preschool aged children continue to learn and prepare for school. Meals at the Nursery are freshly prepared in the open-plan kitchen by their onsite chef, and preschool aged children have opportunities to help in the kitchen.

The role of a Nursery Manager within the Nursery involves:
- Managing budgets, marketing, occupancy levels and KPI's.
- Preparing for Ofsted inspections.
- Assisting in the recruitment of nursery staff, manage inductions, supervisions, and appraisals.
- Leading the team and support in EYFS planning and looking at reflective practice.
- Managing staff rota's and staff meetings.
- Ensuring children's observations, assessment and development records are maintained.
- Having lead responsibility of Safeguarding and Health & Safety, ensuring all staff follow policy and procedures.
- Working in partnership with parents forming caring and trusting relationships.
- Liaising with the Local Authorities and other professionals associated with the nursery
