We have an exciting opportunity for a Beauty Lecturer to join the team on a claims, term time basis. In return, you will receive a competitive rate of £30.07 - £39.98 per hour, DOE (Unqualified teachers £23.80 – £30.07 per hour, DOE).

About the role:
As the Beauty Lecturer , you will teach part time Beauty Therapy courses to adults in New Milton.
You will be required to work 18.00 to 21.30 two evenings a week, term time.
Responsibilities as our Beauty Lecturer will include:
Teach on courses as agreed with the Head of Curriculum and the Assistant Principal Act as Course Leader, if requested. Prepare and mark student work, monitor progress towards individual targets, keep records, IV and provide timely reports/reviews to students, parents, employers and College managers, as appropriate. Work closely with other colleagues to respond to the needs of students. Pay due attention to the principles of inclusive learning including: support for students with learning difficulties and disabilities;extension resources/activities for students of higher ability;general resources, including the use of Information Learning Technology.Contribute to the design, delivery and future planning and development of the curriculum.Contribute to the teaching/learning resource bank including e-resources for the relevant subject/courses.Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of developments in the relevant subject/course.As our Beauty Lecturer , you’ll ideally have:
Level 3 Beauty Therapy qualification or equivalent Appropriate teacher training qualification (or working towards this) Excellent teaching skills Able to manage learners and learning effectively Able to develop effective learning resources Knowledge and understanding of current developments in the relevant curriculum area Effective communication skills High level of attention to detail Evidence of working towards and achieving personal targets Good administrative and organisational skills Supportive and positive approach to teaching/learning Ability to work collaboratively with the colleaguesBenefits:
