We have a gorgeous nursery which is looking for a Nursery Manager to join and lead their team. It is situated near Aldershot close to shops, local bus routes and a short walk to the local train station, with parking available on site.

They promote an inclusive culture and work closely with parents and the local community to offer a broad range of activities where the children can explore and expand their natural curiosity and learn through play.

As the Nursery Manager you will empower your team to enable the children to learn, discover and develop physical, emotional and intellectual capabilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Cultivate strong and positive relationships with parents and families to ensure a seamless transition between home and nursery life
  • Ensure that all children receive engaging experiences which are appropriate to their age and stage of development
  • Understand and implement the statutory framework for the EYFS throughout the nursery
  • Promote a culture of self-evaluation and help each team member to reach their potential
  • Oversee the day-to-day management, finances and budgets and resourcing throughout the nursery
  • Assist with onsite and marketing activities designed to promote the nursery
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Full and relevant Level 3 in Childcare qualification, ideally with leadership qualifications
  • Previous experience of working in a childcare setting in a management role
  • Sound knowledge of the statutory framework for the EYFS and associated regulatory requirements
  • Previous experience of overseeing an Ofsted inspection would be desirable
