We are looking for experienced medium level or plus SAP SD / MM Consultants, ideally with a consultancy background to join our growing SAP Solutions team in the UK. As a consultant, you will be working with existing customers helping them get ongoing value out of their investment in SAP as well as have the chance to get involved in S4/HANA projects. Involvement in two or more SAP projects at a functional level.

Excellent hands-on functional configuration experience across SAP SD / MM including full end-to-end project lifecycles.

Business process experience.

Knowledge of SAP integration across modules.

Keenness to contribute to Birchman’s offerings, methodologies, and ongoing improvement of supporting tools.

The ability to build customer-oriented collaborative relationships, working in partnership to deliver effectively.

Strong communication, influencing skills and team working capability.

Flexibility plus the ability to travel within the UK and internationally when required.

As an SAP Consultant, you’ll be

managing relationships or the interface with Birchman’s clients - either directly on client site, face to face or remotely via a voice or video conferencing solution.

Gathering client requirements, conducting As-Is & To-Be analysis and studies.

Preparing the client’s Business Blueprint / design documentation.

Managing the client’s requirements, advising on solution design, system configuration, testing, user training, data conversion, documentation, integration, and Go Live Support.

Mapping the client’s technical Structure to SAP best practice processes.

Developing best practice SAP customisation and configuration which meets the client’s requirements and needs.

Working closely with Birchman colleagues to ensure solution delivery provides enhanced customer satisfaction.

Demonstrating configuration experience of SAP master data.

Ensuring that Birchman’s project management processes and standards are applied, maintained, or are escalated appropriately if required.

Working collaboratively with colleagues to contribute to new business development or on selling opportunities.

Designing and delivering relevant workshops; providing coaching and training as required.

Creating comprehensive documentation around solution development to enable knowledge sharing and user training.

Additionally, you will be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills, high level influencing skills and a ‘can do’ attitude. Mostly remote working with theability to travel within the UK or internationally when required.
