Yourpurpose will be:   

Tobe responsible for exceeding our guest expectations on a daytodaybasis within our Flower Shop whilst ensuring the flowers anddisplay are to the agreedstandard.  

 

Youwill be accountablefor: 

  • To ensure theflower shop meets the hotel brand & 5star luxurystandards 

  • Toensure all guest flower requests are met with professionalservice 

  • Totake ownership of any guest request encountered tocompletion 

  • Tocondition and prepare flowers every morning to be used for theflowershop 

  • Toprepare all guest order requests as a priority and deliver to guestrooms 

  • Toprepare flower bouquets and to ensure display stands are up tostandard daily includingpricing 

  • Toassist with our guest orders as direct contact in a polite andhelpful manner with genuineinterest 

  • Toensure guests are charged through our POSsystem 

  • Toensure the flower shop is at the highest standard ensuring qualityis maintained at alltimes. 

  • Tobe passionate creative and encourage all upsell and revenueopportunities. 

  • Toensure stock levels are maintained organised andmonitored 

  • Toassist Savoy Flowers Team with adhoc duties as required especiallyat peaktimes 

  • Towork in a clean and tidy manner clearing away things you are nolongerusing.  

  • Keepthe floors clean and dry to avoid any slips orfalls. 

  • Tocontrol the waste of flowers as much aspossible. 

  • Tomaintain the plants and clean retail areas in theshop 

  • Tomaintain amicable and cooperative working relations with otherdepartments. 

  • Tocomply with all Food Hygiene and Safety legislation using workingpractices that are safe and sensible to your colleagues and toyourself. 

  • Actin accordance with fire health and safety regulations and followthe correct procedures when the situationarises. 

  • Tocarry out additional tasks as instructed and by reasonable requestfrom the leadershipteam. 

  • Adhereto all Savoy policies and procedures as outlined by thehotel. 

  • Bean active colleague of the Savoy team in our mission of TurningMoments into Memories for ourguests. 

 


Qualifications:

What you will need to doin thisrole 

 

  • 13year experience in Luxury London Retail within HospitalityIndustry. 

  • Confidentflorist with all elements of Floristry including wedding wiringtechniques. 

  • Outstandingcommunication skills both written &verbal. 

  • Aconfident & dynamic speaker able to communicate andinteract effectively with all levels of anorganization. 

  • Enthusiasticand positive personality with the ability to build trustingrelationships withothers. 

  • Provenorganizational skills works well on their own. Able to set and meetdeadlines with qualityresults. 

  • Applicablejob related skills as per AccountableDuties 

  • Hoursof operation 7 days a week including weekends and bank holidays 40hour weekrota
